Fall Into St Michaels

Event Description Enjoy the beauty of the foliage color change in historic St. Michaels, Maryland.   The change of the season brings excitement and vibrant color to the town, as residents and businesses celebrate Fall into St. Michaels.

If you’re like us, you love the cool breezes, sweet sunsets and the perfect setting for evening walks.
Fall is the time when we yearn for snuggling in sweaters, we gear up for pumpkin patches and we sip on apple cider. The autumn months are a perfect time to visit St. Michaels for a romantic retreat or a family get away.  

Historic St. Michaels Docent Led Walking Tour 10 AM 
St. Michaels Museum at St. Mary’s Square

Kids Activity Area -  10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Pumpkin Decorating, Cupcake Decorating, Guess the Candy Corn in the jar, Decorate paper bags for Trick or Treating, Face Painting.

Halloween Costume Contest & parade down Fremont Street  1:00 pm
Bring the Kids, pets, adults in costume and compete in the spirit of Halloween


Pumpkin Carving Contest & Bake Sale
Held at the  St. Michaels Community Center
103 Railroad Ave- Corner of Railroad and Fremont St.


Pumpkin Carving is Saturday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (closed for visitors about 1/2 hour to hour at 1:00 pm for judging)
Judging will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday
Sunday viewing from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Pie Baking Contest - Benefits St. Michaels Community Center
103 Railroad Ave.  Corner Railroad Ave. & Fremont St.


The Bay Hundred’s Annual Pumpkin Pie Competition at the St. Michaels Community Center is open to Professional, Home Bakers and children.
Each group will be judged on Traditional or Creative creations.
Cash prizes will be awarded to top 3 winners in each category. Of course, bragging rights and a plaque come with the wins.  Each contestant should submit 2 – 3 pies of the same recipe.
The St. Michaels Community Center will be selling pieces and whole pies.
The pies can be dropped off at the St. Michaels Community Center on Friday,  Oct. 17 or early Saturday morning, Oct. 18.
Judging will begin at 10 am and sales will begin at 11.

Proceeds will benefit the programs and activities of the St. Michaels Community Center.
