Art of Screen Painting

Openings are still available for “The Art of Screen Painting” at St. Michaels Community Center with John Iampieri on Saturday, April 21 from 10am to 2pm.  Screen painting is a very unique folk art that was embraced in Baltimore over a hundred years ago in 1913.  Individuals will learn the history, tools, techniques, and functionality of the art form.  Each person will create their own personalized screen.  EaSch creation will derive from observation, memory, and imagination.  Instruction from an accomplished artist, material for the class and your take home masterpiece included for only $60.
