SUMMARY:Children's Art Day -St. Michaels Art League
DESCRIPTION:The St. Michaels Art League is pleased to announce that again this year it will host its popular\, annual CHILDREN'S ART DAY.  This event\, which takes place on the lawn of St. Luke's Methodist Church located at 304 S. Talbot Street in St. Michaels\, will be held on Saturday\, September 17 from 9 am to Noon.\n\nThis fun event is FREE and open to all children wanting to try painting under the coaching and guidance of League member artists.  The League supplies all materials for the children to create their own art work\, to include acrylic paints\, brushes\, panels and easels. It is suggested that the children bring their own smocks from home.\n\nThere is no preregistration required   just show up and have fun!\n\nThe SMAL sponsors this event along with the Talbot County Arts Council as a community service to promote children's art\, partnering with Ben Franklin Crafts and Cheap Joe's Art Stuff.
